The Clickbank Instant Notification, is a system Clickbank uses to notify DLGuard when an event such as a refund, charge-back, or membership cancellation takes place.
When a refund or charge-back is initated, DLGuard will mark the sale as refunded. If they're part of a membership site, their access will be revoked instantly.
When a membership cancellation takes place, the member will still have access to the members area until either their trial period expires (if you offer one, and if they're still within this period), or when the next billing period arrives.
To set this up, login to Clickbank. Go to the "Account Settings" link in the top menu, then select the "My Site" link in the sub menu.
On the My Site page, you will see a box marked "Instant Notification". If you haven't used this feature before, then you may need to enable it first: you will see a link saying "Click here to request access". You will be asked a series of questions, and then given instant access. You will then see the box to enter your Instant Notification URL.
What URL should you put in the box?
If you login to DLGuard, on the Home page, find your Clickbank product, and then click the "Get Code" link next to your product name.
At the bottom of this page you will find your Instant Notification URL.
You can also find this information by logging in to DLGuard and going to the Help menu, and then select "Clickbank".
